We often spend bank holiday heading to the DIY store to get your jobs done around the house that have been put off, getting the garden ready for summer, and closing out another season as the wheel turns.
This energy doesn’t just apply to your physical house, what about your body? What have you been putting off, what needs to be done so you feel ready to walk into the heat and extroverted nature of summer? Do you need a haircut or to make time for a doctor or dentist appointment? Did you have plans back at the beginning of spring to introduce healthier food or routine to your day? Perhaps you need to clear out the old from your wardrobe, give up on all those single socks and wrap your gorgeous body in something new.

We often view the way we present our houses as an extension of ourselves, of the way in which we want to be seen, but what if we paid that attention to our bodies. Not the parts revealed as we move through our days but small things; the scented candles we buy but forget to use or save for a special occasion as though indulging our senses was not reason enough. What about the skin care we intend to offer ourselves or the doctors’ appointments we put off until we are unwell and in an emergency? How do you treat yourself, what have you been putting off and why?
