During my childhood, I developed a close affinity with nature and its formidable bounty, learning to love and respect everything it offers us. After living a fast-paced life in both New York and London, I decided to slow down and relish the joy of bringing up my four children and caring for my family. I now live in London where I formulate and manufacture all of the Terre Verdi products from my home.
MY MORNING ROUTINE
My morning routine starts at around 7am when I get up before the rest of the house has stirred. I like to start my day with five minutes of peace and quiet with a cup of herbal tea. Mornings can be quite hectic with four children to get ready for school, but we always make sure we have breakfast together. Breakfast usually consists of porridge with various toppings to cater for everyone’s taste! My morning skincare ritual is an important part of my self-care routine. I like to make time for a little facial massage using GoodOils Cleansing Oil, before removing with a warm damp cloth. If my skin is feeling particularly dry, I will apply a little FranChouliPom Nourishing Facial Serum or skip straight to NeroliPom Moisturiser followed by an SPF. After a few minutes of chaos, while everyone gathers what they need, we leave for our walk to school. I believe getting out into the fresh air and walking is a very important routine for the whole family - whatever the weather!
MY FUTURE PLANS
I am working towards formulating more certified organic water-based products to target specific skin conditions. I would also like to continue to work closely with practitioners already using our products in their salons and SPAs as well as build relationships with new ones. As well as formulating organic skincare, I am also passionate about educating consumers on the importance of real clean skincare and the organic provenance of ingredients and want to continue to do this in the future.
